About Eii

Electro Inductive Industries (Eii) was established  in 1999 by entrepreneurs Vernon McMahon and Mark Going. It was initially a transformer repair facility but the company quickly grew to achieve market recognition and industry approval and, thanks to Eskom and local authority contracts, now holds a sizable portion of the distribution transformer industry. Eii has recently moved to a new facility in Blackheath, Cape Town to consolidate operations and to ultimately improve production and service delivery to customer.

The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC)  is the single biggest shareholder in the business.

The IDC’s primary objectives are to contribute to the creation of balanced, sustainable economic growth in South Africa and on the rest of the continent. We promote entrepreneurship through the building of competitive industries and enterprises based on sound business principles.”

Eii is committed to supplying our customers with the best quality transformers and strive to continuously improve on our processes and service levels. This company has a wealth of experience in the transformer market with  skills and expertise from design engineers to the technicians and artisans whom manufactures and tests our transformers. Apart from core- and coil-winding, transformers are handmade by our experienced & committed staff.
